The United States Government, as represented by the Department of State's Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM), is seeking proposals from U.S. and international NGOs and/or UN/IO entities to implement activities in support of programs to address gender-based violence (GBV), including sexual abuse and exploitation, in refugee situations in a manner that respects the dignity of the individual and the culture in which s/he lives. The budget for this proposed program should identify not only the PRM request, but also those portions funded by the NGO/IO itself, UNHCR or other UN/IO agencies, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), or other donors. The authority for this funding opportunity is found in the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, as amended.
